The Round Sequence (Core Game)

  1. Phase 1: Planning & Reinforcement
    • Income & Admin (Simultaneous): Get income, pay upkeep, determine turn order.
    • Recruitment (In Order): Buy Bushi, Ninja, Castles.
  2. Phase 2: Campaign
    • Movement (In Order): Move all units.
    • Battles (In Order): Resolve battles.
  3. Phase 3: Winter
    • Supply (Simultaneous): Pay for units in mountains.

The Combat Sequence

  1. (Opt) Hire Ronin: Attacker, then Defender.
  2. (Opt) Ninja Assassination: Reveal Ninja.
  3. Melee Phase: All units roll dice simultaneously.
  4. Assign & Remove Casualties.
  5. Determine Outcome: Check for province control.
